Smoke Free Union, a community coalition located in Union County, North Carolina, is dedicated to increasing awareness about the dangers of secondhand smoke and promoting smoke free environments.

Breaking news!!

Effective January 2, 2010, smoking will be prohibited inside all restaurants and bars in NC. Final legislation passed May 13, 2009. Governor Beverly Perdue called it "an important and historic day for North Carolina.  The bill allows smoking outside on patios and exempts cigar bars and some private clubs.
