| The North Carolina Quitline is a proactive service available from 8:00 AM to midnight, seven days a week. It is staffed by trained tobacco cessation specialists who are skilled in working with callers who smoke or use spit tobacco. The Quitline is available to all tobacco users in the state who are ready to quit. The toll-free quitline is funded by the NC Health and Wellness Trust Fund and the NC Tobacco Prevention & Control Branch, DHHS. Spanish speaking specialists and information are available. |
